Problem:
If a user is not logged into NetSuite with an active browser session, they won't get the pop-up event reminder.

Solution:
The Netsuite Secretary Widget (also known as the "NetSuite Event Notifier") is an event reminder application application built for the Yahoo! Widget Engine. It uses web services to obtain events from your NetSuite calendar. The latest beta version (v0.9a beta) is now available for download.

Features Include:

- a minimal, customizable user interface
- customizable alarm sounds
- hot keys for popup event list and NetSuite global search
- works on both Apple OSX and Microsoft Windows
- the underlying Javascript/XML code is completely free and open-source (BSD license)

This beta version has been tested internally, but it is still under development. Please report any issues to the NetSuite User Group. Your feedback will be valuable in refining the functionality and fixing issues for future versions.
