Problem:
Needs to Calculate the value of “Retainage” on an invoice.
Solution:
Calculates Labor Cost based on hourly rate, time of labor and quantity on an invoice. This script is triggered at line validation.
Multiplies the Retainage Percentage by the Total on the Invoice. The result in shown as the User enters the “Retainage” payment item on the Invoice. The “Retainage” payment item will reduce the Total of the Invoice. This does not include checks to ensure that the correct “Retainage” payment item has been entered. The Retainage Percentage is stored on the Customer record. The User will be able to adjust the percentage on the Invoice.
