Problem:
Sales often enters a markup on items during the order process but did not have a way to enter this as a currency amount and have that reflected in the total line item amount
Solution:
A custom field of type currency applied at the column levels holds the markup price in $ for line items on the Sales Order. SuiteScript triggers on Validate Line event and adds the markup price entered to the amount for the line in currency.
