Problem:
Sales often enters a markup on items during the order process but did not have a way to enter this as a % of the item price and have that reflected in the total line item amount.
Solution:
A custom field of type % applied at the column levels holds the markup price in percent for line items on the Sales Order. SuiteScript triggers on Validate Line event and adds the markup price entered to the amount for the line in currency.
